Agia Farango - By The Chapel

Agia Farango is a small gorge at the Southern tip of Crete with a stunningly beautiful landscape and a river full of oleanders.

Up until a few years ago it was primarily accessible only by boat, which is why the nature remained untouched and the hiking was rather difficult.

You can also get there by boat from Matala or Agia Galini or take the way through the described here dehydrated river channel instead.

The path branches off from the road that lies between the Moni Odigitrias monastery and Kali Limenes.
